Mural Project

About the mural Project

The Mural Project is a joint initiative from the IRC and OSL to paint murals on the stairwell landings, as a way to bolster residence culture by showcasing student artwork. This project gives students a chance to leave a lasting mark on both the building and Innis College's history.

This year's Mural Project is a continuation of the Mural Project launched during the 2021-2022 academic year. (If you haven't seen those murals yet, check out the 2nd-floor stairwell landings or the images to the left!)

All Innis students (resident and non-resident) can contribute to the project. Check the Submit a Design page for information on designing a mural, and check back later for other ways you can help!

Want to get involved but not sure how? Email vpinternal@innisirc.com to learn more about what you can do :)

Acknowledgments

We would like to thank the Innis Residence Council for their contributions, including the members of the Mural Project Subcommittee. We would also like to thank Dylon McLean, Jason Brennan, and the whole OSL team for their support. Further, we would like to thank the members of the 2021-2022 Mural Project Committee, chaired by President Emerita Mira Ghosh, for laying the foundations for today's Mural Project. Finally, we would like to thank the Innis community as a whole — this project would not be possible without all of you!
